NEW YORK CITY, NY / ACCESS Newswire / April 2, 2026 / Space 11, a space economy, infrastructure and technology company, today announced the completion of its Global Space Advisory Board, formalizing a senior advisory structure composed of former NASA leaders and industry specialists to support its expansion across space-based media, infrastructure and emerging commercial space initiatives.

The announcement was made by Bert Ulrich, Executive Vice President of Production, from Florida's space coast, where he attended the Artemis II launch, reflecting Space 11's positioning in close proximity to active spaceflight operations and the broader entertainment and commercial space ecosystem.

The advisory board includes former NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, one of the most experienced spaceflight veterans of his generation and the first American astronaut to spend nearly a year aboard the International Space Station; former NASA Chief Scientist Dr. James L. Green, who helped define the agency's long-term scientific strategy and oversaw planetary exploration programs including missions to Mars and deep space; former senior NASA executive Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne, who held leadership roles across human spaceflight, science missions and the development of the commercial low-Earth orbit economy; and Bert Ulrich, former NASA Film and Television Liaison, who spent more than two decades bridging the agency with global media productions and now serves also as Executive Vice President of Production at Space 11.

The completion of the board represents a structural step in the company's evolution, aligning its development strategy with current aerospace capabilities, scientific standards and the accelerating commercialization of space.

Space 11 was founded in 2021 by Italian producer and entrepreneur Andrea Iervolino, whose international film productions have involved Academy Award-winning filmmakers and globally recognized talent. His work has focused on structuring large-scale, cross-border production platforms, a model now extended into Space 11's activities across space economy infrastructure, technology and media.

The company is currently developing "I See You", a feature film project designed to incorporate scenes captured in real microgravity conditions. The film is written by Andrew Schneider and Diane Frolov and is structured to combine traditional production with footage obtained during human spaceflight, with the objective of achieving a higher level of realism in the depiction of life in orbit.

The company's broader strategy includes the development of media formats, sports competitions and content designed for execution in space environments, supported by collaborations with aerospace engineers, astronauts and launch providers.

Andrea Iervolino, Founder, stated:

"The completion of our Global Space Advisory Board marks an important step in the development of Space 11 as a platform operating across space economy infrastructure, technology and media. We have brought together individuals who have directly contributed to shaping modern space exploration, and their expertise allows us to structure projects that are both visionary and grounded in real operational capability."
